Yes, Phil, depends how far North you go. We had a discussion on this a few pages back. It's because lines of latitude are all parallel (rings around the Earth) but lines of longitude converge on the poles.
It's great for me when I go up to the Arctic; a bit crap for me this year in Italy though!

picked up a new zone in Genova. That'll be me for Italy for a while till I can get my BIL to take me out of town for some running.

what, with the plebs, Chris?
It's not really that practical because it requires sitting in sweat-soaked running kit on the way back :/ (There's nowhere I could leave stuff if I didn't have the car or vespa.)
