I'll be at home with hubby on Christmas day...it's just the two of us. We'll find some movie we haven't seen in ages to watch...and I have already bought us nice from Hotel Chocolat to enjoy over the Christmas period. They had a 20% day off a couple of weeks ago so I treated us to something nice.

The Scribbler
I have the inlaws (who are no trouble at all) to stay and we all go to our friends' farm for the Christmas Day feast. My job is to do the driving (which I don't mind as I don't drink) and take their dog for a walk (one of my favourite bits of the day). I might drop in here later in the afternoon/evening but will be thinking and wishing everyone a lovely day.

Christmas will be different in Wooland this year - we’re going to my daughter’s house, which makes it the first time that one of our offspring has hosted Christmas Day. Can’t wait! Will be popping in here at some point no doubt - just to make sure everything’s OK

I'm hoping I can do the Christmas Day parkrun - or maybe we'll walk the dog in the rest of the park while others run - then a day at home with one or maybe two sons and one or maybe two partners thereof. Will certainly find time to pop in here though

Nessie
Just the 4 of us for Christmas day.
This year I have decided not to stress about the fact that the little monsters don't like sprouts. Or turkey. Or potatoes. Or parsnips/bread sauce/cranberry/pigs in blankets/stuffing or anything else that normally goes on a plate at Christmas. They will be having sausages and beans, with a side of raw carrot.
That means I can fit the M&S turkey crown, stuffing, chiplolatas, veg and roasters all in the oven in their little foil dishes, reducing my stress levels. I'll also be serving starter at 12, main at 3 and pudding at whatever time we have recovered from main.
I'll try to pop in between the breakfast (chocolate) and the start of lunch. And before I hit the cava.

Fairy clogs
Family fun with hubby and both sons home for Christmas. Bushy parkrun for me and the sporty one of my offspring while the other stays in bed and hubby goes to church.

Liking that idea Nessie, of splitting the courses. I might do similar, thanks 😊

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
Thanks Jenny, I've blogged now at last (thanks there too!) so I can stop hogging the threads!
Christmas day we *were* going out for dinner to avoid having to cook (and to avoid having our friends' dogs over, who are a bit much) but now my Mum's not well, so might not be able to go out for dinnner. Argh! G

I'll be cooking xmas dinner for me and my two lads (neither has a partner). Meanwhile, Mrs WM will be at her sons in Warwick. Apparently Mrs Wm's son is cooking xmas dinner for him and his family. I've told her to tell him to call me if he needs any advice! I will be trying to find time to pop on here sometime between cooking xmas dinner and collapsing with a beer later on ..
