We will be at home, joined by Mrs D’s mum. I hope to get out for a walk at some point, but Christmas dinner is the main part of the day, along with playing a game or two and avoiding tv.
I have never watched a Queen’s Speech, and don’t expect I ever will.

First Christmas for me without my Mum also which is hard. Also Mini at his Dad's until 5pm and first time a single lady in almost 30 years! Thankfully there is parkrun and lunch at my sister's house to look forward to, where there will be kids and puppies!

I'll be hosting a gentle "pensioners" Christmas Day this year, the exception being GimmeMedals. Son (policeman) is working Christmas Day so daughter has decided to go to her boyfriend's and have Christmas with us when her brother can also be there. So it'll be a quiet, refined affair with my dad, sister and brother-in-law.

I'll be waking up in Bedford with Katie, and then going to bed in Nottinghamshire - getting some time with my boy after Christmas dinner with t'lovely wife.

We'll be at home, but for only the second time in 44 years, I won't be spending it with my sister. I'm sure we'll facetime though. SweetPea has asked for a keyboard (musical, not qwerty) and Marigold wants high heeled boots* I'll be cooking.
*anything other than flat constitutes as high, so we're not talking 6 inch killer stilettos!

We’re not hosting this year and are heading to my OH’s mum’s for a Christmas Dinner around 4ish. Which means hopefully we’ll either go for a bike ride or a walk - weather-permitting before stuffing our faces.

If anyone is strapped for cash for buying xmas presents for men/boys... you can do what I did when I was a poor student:
Get a shoebox. Put a typed note inside saying "Action Man Deserter" Wrap it up and give it your brother
