I have never done a Christmas Day parkrun. Too much excitement with kids opening pressies and stuff. But now they are older teens, it’s not quite as exciting. So I may do a run tomorrow morning because I probably won’t be missed. Not sure if that’s a positive or not?

I will hopefully make it to parkrun for a brief visit before I go and collect my mum.

Will be on a flight to Tenerife tomorrow. 🤞 There by lunchtime. Christmas buffet in the hotel in the evening and then cocktails in the bar afterwards. 😁

No running Xmas day for me probably, as we'll be visiting family, but I have scheduled myself a couple of days in the Lakes next week for some snowy mountain running 😊

That's a great plan, Outdoors_Junkie I won't be getting any running in on Xmas day but hopefully a run on the seafront promenade on boxing day.

I'm definitely doing parkrun tomorrow. I usually run it with my grandson but as he's not here this year, it would still be rude of me to not go!

I shall be walking at parkrun today as I’m a bit chesty and don’t think inhaling cold damp air in big gulps will help me to feel better. I’m timekeeping at parkrun tomorrow and then home to help with preparing lunch when we will be joined by my brother in law and a parkrun friend who would be on his own. |

I'm a bit weird about it all this year. Lots to process for me. I'll enjoy seeing the children's excitement though.
