🎄FestiveMedals🎄
We had Christmas dinner at 1:30pm then had a break. I took Mad Dog Jess for a walk, then Skyped Alice the Camel after the Queen's speech. Mr GM and I have just had some of my homemade Christmas pudding (it's very good!), but my dad is still too full. I'm guessing we won't be having any tea.

Dinner just finished. A late one for us but we got the best Christmas present this morning, eldest has access to 30 minute COVID tests at work so she was able to get tested and be (relatively) certain of not being infected. We had her for a couple of hours this morning which took the sting out of our first Christmas dinner a deux for 26 years.

Dinner was a success. Duck, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, red cabbage, and peas. Pigs in blankets. Gravy, and plum/rhubarb/ginger relish. We’re not even thinking about dessert yet 🐷

I’m stuffed now, thanks to my brother-in-law, who cooked some extra xmas dinner for me and my mum, and my nieces, who delivered it. It’s good to have such a thoughtful family, even if we couldn’t all sit down together.
Obviously I’m not now going to eat the large piece of Yule log with double cream that’s sitting in front of me...
That’s great news WF. Pleased to hear it

Good King Pothunter
Had our meal at lunch time. Ham, turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, pigs in blankets. Plus wine
Had a lovely walk to visit the donkeys (and give them carrots and ginger biscuits).
All too full for real supper so just had churros and ice cream for a snack (with some more wine!)
All in all a successful, if low key, day
Happy Christmas Fetchfam!
