I ran 12.k, played football with the kids, prepped the meal and have now done a little "yoga for runners" while the lamb is in the oven. Latish dinner here as we are waiting for the priest who has a 5pm mass (with an empty church).

Mr S, who did all the cooking, I just sous cheffed, has been asleep since about 4pm. And we only had the main course! We were also part of a very special Christmas surprise for the children who used to live in our house and that was a very special moment. Didn’t manage to get out while it was light, so will have to brave the storm tomorrow. Off to raid the chocolates and bookshelves!

I only managed the main course but, after my nap, am thinking about heating up my Christmas pudding (it's a teeny individual plastic one from Aldi). OH has managed to start the trifle...
