Hope you have a handy bit of red flannel petticoat (perhaps Fetch hoodie would serve?) to wave in case of emergency. xxxx

Going to inlaws. Bad. OH has a tremendous work schedule for the whole december and could do with a break rather than schlepping upand down half the country twice in 3 days. Most selfish of them.

Tbe place is a semi desert alcohol wise too.

I shall parkrun, hopefully walking the tail, then we're going to the ancestral cavern until the descendants demand to be taken away from the ritual ancestral Daily-Mailing.

I will be in Ireland at the inlaws', more walking on eggshells than downing eggnog. Not sure if the local parkruns put in an Xmas day event, but there's a local 5k on Boxing Day (or St. Stephen's day if you prefer) so I should be able to get at least a little exercise...

Will be doing our usual roadtrip to see family members from Christmas Eve to the 28th. Will probably pop in here every now and again, as I'm at the MILs for Christmas Day itself (she's lovely really).

My last post was a bit terse, but they also do old fashioned Christmas dinner, plain turkey, sprouts boiled to feck and back.

Sorry.

I shall try to parkrun, the nearest is some 5 miles away, so I might run to it to....I might kip through the day that way.

:-)

They do have pork pie on the eve though.
