I'm going to probably bombard with logistics questions now so apologies in advance. How are people planning to get to Chester? Go on the day? Is it viable by train? Where's best to park if going by car?

We did that last year too but I think this car park might be the closest.... en.parkopedia.co.uk Probably gets quite busy on the day. Hopefully others with more information will come along shortly.
