It's worth hanging on to a pace group if you want a sociable run, because with it being closed roads lots of the runners shut themselves away behind earphones.

Good point! We had that a bit on Sunday at the Half - I do find it a bit anti-social.

3 weeks to go! Hope everyones training is going well. I'm going to probably bombard with logistics questions now so apologies in advance. How are people planning to get to Chester? Go on the day? Is it viable by train? Where's best to park if going by car?

Ness
Hi, TBR. Mr Ness is driving me to Chester the night before and we're staying in a hotel. We did that last year too but I think this car park might be the closest....

Probably gets quite busy on the day. Hopefully others with more information will come along shortly.

We're coming down on the Saturday and staying in a Travelodge. Little Roodee car park is a good choice, and there are lots of car parks within easy walking distance.

We live about an hour away and so tend to drive on the morning - there is advice about parking in the event FAQs on the race website.

eL Bee! doesn't have enough annual leave for us to have a holiday in the area this time round, and he's back at work on the Monday.

Early start then chill before the start
Run
Eat all the food
Drive
Stop
Eat more!
Drive home via take away?!?
Worked when I did Bramley earlier in the year
