hey graham Biastia - good to se you are you running this - its our home ground. I ran the first 4 miles on the lanes from the rugby clun & onto the greenway. As others have said its near perfectly flat on the greenway - cycle patt, a couple of slight undulations, and i mean slight, nothing even like Stratford. From memory there's a rise - over the bridge over the A55 a couple of miles into Wales, and poss another rise near the Hawarden Bridge station at the loop near the turn. But otherwise cycle path / old railway all the way. Some may say its boring, but thats the challenge around Blacon and at the start of the greenway there are quite a few wood carvings, there's alaso the bridges ! And of course the view to the Clwydian Hills as we run out towards Wales. And of course the traffic on the A55/494 as we cross it by bridge !.

If anyone is interested in pasta fest - i can have a look - there s a few of the usual in Chester & afterwards there is the Rugby club - i hope they can put food on- must send a note to organisers. if i can get rid of this backache and run - then i may have a few car spaces in the morning as i drive from Mold- so could pick up in Chester. Now some trining if i can manage - a swim tomorrow i thinks .
