(This is before us trying to get them in to the carriers!) she scoffed down a massive amount of food so fast, I think I might space out their portions a bit and see if that helps.

This is what my OH read in a book by Jackson Galaxy (My Cat From Hell presenter). There are lots of online articles saying similar. Yesterday was our first chippy tea since Moon came to live with us. He seriously looked as though he was going to take a blind leap onto the dining table into my sausage in batter and chips. We put him in the kitchen so we didn't get to find out how accurate a jump that might have been. He didn't take such an interest in my OH's chips & mushy peas. My plateful was the heaviest on the vinegar. I wonder if he's smelled vinegar on chippy teas before and expects there to be fish under all the smell?
