Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've just realised that I'm not coming home after the race - I have a seat booked at the parkrun crowd table in a pub. You're still welcome to park and walk but I won't be able to offer post race showers and food - sorry

I can't offer a substitute park and walk as I'm 3.5 miles away and the local bus will be cancelled since its route goes through the course. Park and run to the start perhaps :-p ? It would be a good warm up ;-)

If it's sold out, I'd better get a place as a pacer!

I won't be pacing. :-(

A new C&C person has taken over the organisation of pacers and a month ago when he requested volunteers he used only Facebook, which I don't use. He didn't use the club website or other methods. Even though I was on the list of last year's pacers that he was given, for some reason he decided I was on Facebook and would therefore see his request!

All the pacing slots have now been filled and the reserve list is full, although I'm now on as a reserve reserve but highly unlikely to be required :-(

Managed to get in. No family in town anymore so will have to give the P&R a try. I haven't pre-booked. Does it get really bunged? I might bring my old pushbike and cycle. I find it quite good at easing off the legs after a race

I am crossing my fingers that there will be a place available for Jigs, hate that we didn’t both get in.
