Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Training Log
yep it is an outdoor pursuit and weather conditions control what I do,when it rains I do not climb, when the wind blows I can not fly and when it is icy it seems I can not race on public roads, nothing to stress about in fact I said this would prob happen a few pages back in October.

I hope this does not harm the club, it was good of them to invite us to play in the first place.
I would pay the postage for the top myself to be honest.

well said training log . it's already been said but although disappointed that's the chance you take entering a road race in winter. I knew this when I entered and I took my chance . most years it works this year they were unlucky.

I don't expect refund or any memento. I knew the risks when I entered and I'm just grateful this great little club try to put a good road race on every year despite all the grief they get.

Decided to do a long run rather than shortened Stanbury. If it'd been the original route, I'd have done it, but decided I need to do more than 6mi.

Did 17mi over Ilkley and Baildon moors along the Rombalds Stride route instead. Very enjoyable in the snow.

It's funny to me that they say there's no refunds because the rules say no refunds and you can't mess with the rules, and then go on to say they're posting the t-shirts because while the rules say they shouldn't be posted, the rules can be ignored.
