Looking at the reviews and thread on RW, and a fair few off Fetch with it noted down, it looks very popular. Has anyone done it before and can say what the attraction is? (Atmosphere, PB potential, shedding the Xmas pounds etc.) I might pencil it in the old diary in myself. |

I'm not sure who it is but this race is very popular. I think it was a sell out in just over a week last year. I'm going to try and get in just to see what all the fuss is about. |

i did this last year! my first half  loved it, its nice scenic route around the countryside starting and finsihing at york racecourse, nice n flat. i'll be doing it again, nice n freinldy race and lovely peeps

That's me Su. It was cold last year! Great race, as flat as you'll get for a half, scenic, friendly and good facilities at the race course. |

DD, yes, my father in law has a house in York which he only uses few days a wekk so we stayed for 4 days, was fab york is gorgeous
