JohnnyO May 2011 10:38am, 10 May 2011 8,215 posts	0 JohnnyO Probably. I think that the whole race was slower than last year. Run Britain has ranked my slightly slower run on Sunday as a better performance than the faster run I did last year.
rf_fozzy May 2011 10:48am, 10 May 2011 920 posts	0 rf_fozzy Andrew Pearson (2nd place, won last year, ex-GB) was 3mins slower this year, as was Gemma Smith who won the Ladies Race. My time from last year, which put me somewhere in 80s place-wise would have put me in the top-60 this year.

It was very humid at the start, then the headwind in the last fees miles which was especially poor on the last bit of Kirkstall Road. Add that to the long hills and the uphill finish...
