It's the closest I've ever come to being an MRT statistic. Fortunately I walked away with just had an array of bruises to show for it and some more valuable experience to guide me in the future. I made a vow to never ever to use that technique again in winter conditions without an ice axe to hand. When it goes wrong it goes wrong very fast and it isn't an experience I recommend!
