Crikey. I think if we can decide which Felt bike you wnt the other manufacturers will follow. And Hammerite's right about Bianchi - so I won't say it myself. So, let us know whether its an F series or Z series Felt you're interested in, and the rest will follow... |

BB - you may decide that you want something a bit different. If you look at other riders you'll probably notice that about 50% of all road bikers will have a Spec or Trek!! I know of some people who have avoided them just for that reason!! Alan - did you go and see John at PMC for your fitting? He sorted me out, I went back last week to have something fitted, he wanted to watch me ride the bike again and noticed within about 10 secs that I'd raised my saddle slightly, just by the way I was riding. Very sharp! |

My Bianchi looks great with tri bars :o) (me on my Bianchi in a triathlon last year: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rach_e/478091443/in/set-72157600158996122/) BB - I advise going to a bike shop with a set budget in mind and trying the fit of multiple bikes. I tried loads of different makes, but the Bianchi just felt the best fit for me. I had a fitting in the shop (they spent three hours with me!) and put on pedals, women-specific handlebars etc, etc. I want to get out on my road bike again. 20 miles a day on the brommie in slow traffic doesn't quite cut it... |

Just looked at the Felts - it would be the F75 I'd go for, not the Z70 - sounds like a better frame and better componenets for not too much more dosh

It's this one, BB: evanscycles.com (although mine has a few more gears) Mine's the 2005 model. Can't believe I chose to buy the model from a year when they chose grey as the colour for their bikes... |

Right. The F series is the less relaxed more up-and-at-em series. Rules out the Bianchi via Nirone, then, and any 'sportive' geometry (like my Focus, for example).

Ah Rach - its not Celeste - that's why it still looks good. I *love* Bianchi, it has to be said. |
