Ohhh, Rach, please please please be careful along the embankment... it is very dangerous cycling along there, it is where my nephew got killed on his bike on his way to work 
Yes, I bet cycling 20 miles is making you more hungry! I have been adding a fair few bike miles to my running the last couple of months and I seem to be perpetually hungry!

Glad you're okay, Rach, sounds like you didn't come off too badly. Phew!
I'm fortunate in that it seems my route isn't too bad as far as traffic goes - couple of bits which make me nervy, but I'm not feeling as vulnerable on a bike as I thought I might.

Hanneke, I am as careful as I can be. It's a pretty nasty stretch along the Embankment, although it's far busier on the road between Tower Bridge and Limehouse...
Lyra, the "off" wasn't too bad in the scheme of things and it hasn't put me off. I'm glad your route is reasonably safe.

Good thanks, Hann. Having a job again is weird though
But holiday was nice, and I'm actually pleased to be back working and looking forward to getting fit again. Talking of which, I'm off for a run around the river now for 40 mins or so. Working in Covent Garden, which is cooler than a very cool thing.
