Just contemplating purchasing some bits on BikeInn and wondering if anyone else here has used them? Obviously coming in from the EU and I'm assuming 29% is payable as duty/VAT, still cheaper than I can get in the UK though. Thoughts??

As long as they know you are in the UK ( ie you're not using a VPN to make it look like you are elsewhere ), then according to their FAQ :-

"Will I be asked to pay additional VAT or duty charges upon receiving my parcel in the United Kingdom?
No, the price on our website will be the final cost to you. There will be no additional VAT or duty charges requested on delivery by our carriers. We have done all we can to prepare for Brexit in the best way possible to offer the best experience for the customer."

Mmm, thanks Gus, didn't spot that.

Well, I think I'll give them a go. Want some sexy tan wall Contis for new project and they are a good buy on BikeInn

Odd coincidence, I was reading about Bikeinn on yacf yesterday, they sound ok as long as you’re not in a hurry yacf.co.uk

I bought running shoes from the running bit of bikeinn without additional costs. Got my tan wall contis from DeporVillage in Spain; think they had a max cost for no additional vat etc.

Just following up on the discussion about BikeINN, well, I placed an order on the 26th Nov and it was delivered yesterday, so not too bad in my opinion. It was for a couple of GP5000tr (622 x 30) for my new bike project, they worked out at £57 each, I couldn't find them at that price on any UK website. They're "transparent" walls, so brown rather than tan. I am going to match the bar tape to that colour I think.

Glove questions.

Anyone got the Endura wind chills and if so, do they do the job?

2 part question - glove liners - do I need to size up with gloves to get a liner in so there’s space for warm air or is it OK to have a snug fit. Also, are they actually useful/necessary with good gloves?

I think a snug fit is okay. You can get a warm layer of air trapped between the liner and the outer and that works well if I understand the theory correctly.

I only wear liners when absolutely bloody freezing, my Castelli winter gloves are amazing and keep hands warm in all but the worst conditions.
