Good call LTC. What mini pump do you use to get to 120psi?? I can only reach that with a track pump.

I've got a Blackburn, I can't remember what model. I bought a racer a few years ago and hunted for ages to find a minipump that would cope with road tyres. I've only got 100psi out of it but it's OK for skinny tyres. Try chainreactioncycles for pumps. Why is it road tyres never patch properly but MTB ones do?
I tried to sell the racer a few weeks ago, but then discovered the frame was cracked. I'm pretty gutted about that so I've been selling the parts. On the plus side the boiler room now has more space  and both my mountain bikes are fine It really is ridiculous owning 3 bikes and 7 pairs of running shoes. I was out on the oldest bike today - almost as old and the local teenagers who were admiring it as I rode past!!! It's amazing what changing the chain lots and cleaning the frame can do for a bike!!!

Toks - I've got a great bike that was only £399 and would be great for a beginner - Specialized Vita. I overtake MANY people on my commute to work - and most of the time I freewheel! You would have to get the handle bars changed though to drop handle bars.
