sad to think all the bikes people want are designed in USA. Not sure how much you have to spend idio, but look at ribble cycles, you might get more punch for your cash. ps I'm not on commision from them!! |

I traded a bike in at a shop so I'm kind of limited to what they sell though they do sell more brands than the one's i've listed (those are the ones I'm very interested in). Plus I get on very well with them and they treat me very well and sort any problems out extremely quickly.

I'm trying to resist adding to the list, Pilotlight, otherwise I'd have *deffo* said look at Ribble. And, from mainland Europe Focus (but I would say that). Shame there's no Felt or Cube on there, or Bianchi, or Cinelli... See - where does it end? Phoning Dave at Planet-X?

I had a Bianchi years ago and it was a dog and put me off them for life. I've looked at Planet X and don't really fancy one of them. I've also considered a Colnago.

Fair enough. And I can understand the PX aversion, too. What about the Germans though (Focus/Cube)?

Desperately pretty. My LBS is a Cannondale dealership. On the other hand Himself (my guv'nor) is a Cannondale nut so I'm sort of ambivalent. Think how much of the cost is for Liquigas colors, though.
