I suffer from a huge lack of imagination with tyres. I just buy whatever Conti seems best suited for the job. I used to be like that with Asics and running shoes - possibly will be again in time. It just makes life so much easier.

Michelin on the racing wheels, Bontrager on the training wheels... the first lightweight thingies, the latter kevlar re-inforced anti-puncture jobs...

These, as it were... in black and grey, which I now regret, should have gone for yellow and black, to match the yellow detailing on the bike

Bonty on the training wheels sort of makes sense if you've got a Trek bike. What racing wheels have you got?
Haven't got my hybrid with me today, so I won't bang on yet again about how much I like the tyres on it - which I've had for nigh-on a year now. Contis of some sort, natch.

haven't got a trek bike, it is a Giant... racing wheels are shimano things with limited number of spokes...

Oh. Of course, an SCRLimited or somesuch - I knew that. Buying Bonty anything if you haven't got a Trek seems a bit odd, though.

it is a TCR... and I have no idea about tyres, but when I told the lbs about my 3 punctures on one ride and that I needed to do something to stop that, this is what they put on, together with slime filled tyres...

There is a HUGE difference
I tried finding a picture of the wheels on 't net somewhere, but can't... but there is a pic on my profile that shows them...
