Cakes made and cooling, apples cooked and mashed.

My trusty old hand mixer decided that it wasn't going to work any more tonight. I think it must be getting on for 40 years old and was a hand-me-down from my sister, so I had to make it the old fashioned way. I do have a stick blender with a whisk attachment so at least I can whip the cream with it tomorrow, I'll try and remember to take a pic.

^^Mine gave up the ghost on me today too. I find a hand-held mixer so useful I’ll need to get a replacement sharpish.
