It has malt and molasses in it, so very like a sour rye malt loaf. Good ultra running fuel.

that sounds worth a try - actually rye in a yeast malt loaf sounds good too.... wanders off to see what's hiding at the back of the baking cupboard

Had things to use up in the fridge plus unexpected time on my hands so I made pie: chard, ricotta & filo Loosely based on bbcgoodfood.com but half the ingredients and no lemon or feta, plus I chopped the chard stems and cooked them with the onions. |

Apple pie with a bit of mixed dried fruit bunged in cos the apples weren't a generous enough filling. |
