I’ve been chatting with my brother. He gave me recipe for very similar mum used to make. That was ‘Kim’s cake’ and there are various recipes on t’internet for it. I’m definitely going to make one soon

That looks lovely Lizzie.

DT - I have a recipe for 'bran loaf' that has no fat or eggs in. Very easy and makes a nice sort of tea bread that is good as cake or spread with butter, needs a bit of planning and fridge space though as you soak it overnight. Let me know if you'd like me to dig it out.

Flapjack will keep for a couple of weeks lf - no excuse not to bake :-)

If I can manage it around work I'm going to be trying to bake a Sticky Toffee Banana cake today.
