Even more interesting. I've just gone onto Connect and set up the sessions the Physio has given me to do as saved workouts. I'm not sure exactly how that's going to play out in practice but I'm hoping that means I'm pretty much set and it'll follow along with what I'm doing. I'm just wondering how the "auto-detect" thing is going to cope with swapping weights round and moving kit between sets? |

Fetch definitely imports my sets, reps and weights but very rarely gets them right, probably because neither does Garmin so I have to alter both after. I do appreciate the fact that it tries though. Never tried a preset workout so unsure as to how it will cope or if it will allow for possible discrepancy with what it thinks you're doing by knowing what you say you're doing. I would assume when 'resting' between sets, it shouldn't pick anything up as usual 🤷 |

Ah, now that might be an issue because I've not put any "rest" in, just the sets of exercises. I think I'm going to go and have a bit of an edit because you're probably onto something there, @Gooner . |

I did my first leg session of the year on Tuesday and was still paying on Thursday playing in the 6 rep field and will spend a few weeks finding boundaries on a few exercises |

DOMS is a wonderful thing isn't it, Gobi? So reporting back on the Strength option on the watch I got started with my session at lunchtime but hadn't realised that I hadn't loaded the edited version of the session (with the rests) onto my phone! Despite that it did help giving me a structure but it was pretty unreliable for rep counting! On sets of 10 I got readings form 4 to 12. Easy enough to edit and correct things afterwards though (and I've seen reference on YouTube that you can edit it on the watch during the session but I've not worked that part out yet). |

I edit the sets as I'm going along, Nellers.

You need a rest period in order to edit the last set on the watch. When in the rest, press your start button and you should have the edit last set option. When ending a set however my watch shows me the reps and weight and lets me edit both if quick enough. |

That would explain why I didn't see an option to edit "live". Next time I've got weights on the plan is Monday so I'll see how it works then. Unsurprisingly one of the exercises I've been given by the Phys is Birddogs (on the Garmin list as "Quadrupeds" apparently) and that was the most accurate rep counter for left arm/right leg but counted a zero for right arm/left leg as the watch didn't move. |

I get that when I do rows. I always do single arm and switch and the Garmin only counts half the reps. I haven't been bothering to change that. Probably should really.
