Sounds scarily similar. I’d been doing 3 of 5 lifts in rotation: deadlift, back squat, clean, bench and overhead press.

I was doing 5 x 5 though, and whilst it would be nice to see strength gains show through in my rowing and cycling I’m more bothered about not losing muscle mass as the years have pick by.

Oh, and looking hench.😂😂😂

Morning. Can anyone recommend a decent workout station that will have a high bar for pull/chin ups, lower bars for dips and that I can incorporate core strength work as well.

Current pull up bar is one of those that goes in the door frame and the 1930’s house is feeling the effects of it. Current dips are done seated and looking to modify. The inky chance I get to modify is when I use the work gym.

I’ve looked online but quite a range of choice with a range of reviews.

Sorry Dave. I’m still getting by with the doorframe mount d bar. Can’t help you there.

I’ve just redone “Cindy” in his morning. 14 rounds, so 2 more than a week ago, but still 2-and-a-bit rounds short of my all time best, although I was moving a good 12lbs less weight back then.

Not my field of expertise either I'm afraid, I use my power rack and just add attachments for what I need.

I would say just try to stick to a known brand for peace of mind that the materials will hold up and have been designed well. Mirafit are usually reasonably priced.

very late to the creatine discussion here, I feel like it makes a substantial difference, and not just in the lifting, I kept taking it when injured because I just feel better on it.
Finally had a barbell in my hands last night, just light BP, and my wrist felt very weak, but good to be getting back

I tried creatine but it just made me even more susceptible to cramp; so it had a negative effect as I was more cautious in my workouts.

Yes, that kind of thing but with parallel bars so I can do dips as well as pull ups.
