Ah, I hadn’t spotted that. Still, I think I need to do some sled and wall balls before we line up.

I've got to read up more on the sled, looked like there was the option to walk it back, at least a little at a time, which would make it substantially easier than just arms and twisting

Crivens! That reminds me of some stuff I thought I’d managed to bury deep in the sands of time.

Is anyone else going to Fitfest this weekend at the Birmingham NEC? I'll be there on the Saturday if anyone is and wanted to meet up and say hello?

I am also in for Hyrox. Pro race. I'd struggle with the normal race sled push so god knows how I am going to shift the 200kgs. I am praying that the sled in my gym suffers from more friction than the race sleds!

I really want to try different sleds out, I'm eighteen stone and I reckon fairly strong, and I don't think I could move the sled in my gym at 200kg, in fact I'm too embarrassed to try

I am only 12 stone and not a compact stocky 12 stone either! The advice I was given was to train with a bit more than race weight. That would mean I could train at home though as I may as well just push against the house wall.

Deadlift again this morning, and the grip seems to be an issue, but it seems to me that my forearms don't get a lot of rest (stop sniggering at the back) - is lifting straps a sensible option?
