That was me too Mussile. I still haven't actually finished any of the Elder Scrolls games despite having a good few 100 hours on Morrowind and Skyrim.

I hate C&C simply because I didn't have it, and my best friend found a different best friend who did.
I think I'd struggle to lock in a best 10 games, but I'll stick some down and will probably disagree with them later...
Portal 2 Dance Dance Revolution Final Fantasy 6 Earthbound Tekken 3 Soul Calibur 2 (Dreamcast) Civ 4 GTA Vice City Hades Wipeout Omega Collection
I'm already conflicted...

This is the problem with top 10 lists, you forget an amazing game and then struggle to choose which gets replaced. I've played many, many games that have taken many hours of my time - but some no longer stand up to scrutiny, some I've outgrown... Some I resent the amount of time I gave them!
Other games that jump to mind: Super Monkey Ball Crazy Taxi Elite Theme Hospital No Man's Sky Jackbox God of War (PS4) Mario 64 Pokemon XD Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure Beneath A Steel Sky Pro Pinball: Timeshock Dungeon Keeper
Aaaaaaaah I want to play all the games!!

Dance Dance Revolution was a bold shout. Well done.
Beneath a Steel Sky is an interesting shout too.
And ignore what I said yesterday - I've discovered tilt steer and declare Ashphalt 8+ to be the best recent thing on Arcade.

I loved Skyrim. Didn't leave the house for two days in 2011 when it came out.
Went back to it in lockdown last year and "completed" it finally. Brilliant game and if the next one ever gets released I'm taking a week off work to chop wood and go looking for old books.

My favourite games would be heavily skewed to the late 80s/ early 90s (and the Mac / Speccy) as they were my no-social-life heavy gaming years.
A top 10 (favourites, not 'best') would be:
Pac-Man (mini-arcade home version) Daley Thompson Decathlon RoboCop Operation Wolf Dark Castle (brilliant but unknown to anyone who wasn't an 80s Mac user); Angband / Moria / FAAngband (all the same roguelike family) Civ 4 (silver medal to Civ 1) Football Manager 2010 / CM 2001-02 (dead heat) Hearthstone Fortnite

Top 10: Morrowind Skyrim Theme Hospital Jurassic World This War of Mine Baldur's Gate 2 (endangered my second year at uni) Pharaoh Russian Tetris (not the proper name, but can't remember what it was really called, played it on a 486 with my dad for HOURS) Wipeout (only console) Treasure Island (spectrum zx +2, we drew a huge map and everything, but I don't think we ever finished it)
