If I go up and down hills on a rough path or no path at all it's a hike even if all I'm carrying is a couple of toffees in my pocket.

I think 95% of my walks are hikes them, 4% Nordic, as I carry poles, 1% walking. Even willingly, there is no flat or pavement here!
