Hello walkers! There are two new things to point you at: 1) you can now set pace thresholds for your walks, just as you do with runs, rides etc. Go to Profile > Settings > Training Options > Edit Your Pace Zones and click the 'Walk' tab: fetcheveryone.com/user-settings-pace.php?category=W [don't forget to click the save button once you're done]. The default zones should use your average pace for the Zone 3 threshold, and +- minutes for the adjoining zones. 2) the monthly summary now has a functioning 'Walk' tab, so you can see the amount of time you spent in each zone during the month; your walking benchmarks for the month; and also your HR distribution. Find it under Train > Summary & Analysis > Monthly Summary, or use this link: fetcheveryone.com/training-month.php?tab=W |

Thinking about a three or four day walking backpack in August. Looking at Dales High Way as something ‘local’ but different

Nice DT Just back from a 3 day walk in the Highlands bookended by the sleeper train. I'm thinking about 2 weeks on the Pennine Way in September. Anyone done it? |
