Afternoon all. Yes, it sounds appalling around the Valencia region. A clubmate did Valencia Half on Sunday and said it was in pouring rain throughout but I hadn't appreciated then the sheer amount of rain that was falling :-(

Another slow 4 mile run followed by a short dip in the sea this morning. No sunshine today so it felt a bit chilly.

Did a little (very little ie a 5 min guided run!) this morning and foot/ankle felt OK. The GP I saw on Sunday thought it could be osteoarthritis and the painkillers I was prescribed seem to have helped which is good.

I think I am beginning to get somewhat older...

Idris, I can't say I've ever heard of people being diagnosed with arthritic ankles, but I'm sure it happens. I'd give it a few weeks and go for a second opinion if nothing improves.

Awful what's happened/happening in Valencia - we went a couple of years ago and it's a gorgeous place.
Idris, hope the ankle mends.
I had a good track session tonight, I didn't follow the garmin plan of strides but did the club session and it was tough but I loved it.

Just relocated offices last week and decided to go for a wander to see either a giant silver shroud or giant spoon…😳
Didn’t realise just how clarty it would be and ended up with my shoes (and carpets) covered in mud, oh well.
Meanwhile the shroud was a tad er underwhelming- might try the spoon tomorrow 🤔😂
