'Good girl' said a man sheltering under a porch as I ran past him. I think he meant it kindly rather than patronisingly

Was going to be 10. But sensibly as we were absolutely soaked thought cutting it short made sense. If I hadn’t been running with two other dafties it’d been straight home after junior parkrun!

Missed him by 30s at Epping 🤦‍♀️ but we both had a good day & I think he’s eyeing up the 100 for next year 😄 I’ve walked nearly 10 miles today with all the gear & the same yesterday (plus parkrun) so I’m nearly as knackered as him 😂
