That sounds tough Som, I’ve heard about the sand and how hard it makes it before. Feel like I will have to try it one day but maybe not yet.

It's hard to describe how hard it is to run in, it's just a bit brutal lol. Don't go there to get your next fastest parkrun of the year Andy!

Myvatn (sorry, my keypad doesn't have the proper symbol on the y) marathon was very tough today. Iceland, so it'll be cold right‽ No, it was hot and windy. So much so that the downhills were not beneficial because of the headwind.
Lovely scenery but a tough run.
Carpathius did well, considering. We were both about 40-50 minutes slower than the hideous Boston UK a few weeks ago.
Such a shame (and slightly ironic) that ITG 🇮🇸 couldn't join us but we're getting together in a bar shortly.

Well done Carp and PW and some excellent parkrun results too, bunting all round.
I had an appalling night's sleep after my late night 10k, but no rest for the wicked as today I will be attempting to walk up this...
