Morning! How's the knee Cheeky’s Dad today? Debating whether to get on my bike for a short ride or wake Teen up and persuade him to come for a walk with me? Legs are a bit sore after yesterday's run walk and general Saturday tasks. |

racers. Ouch! compartmental Parkrunners - what are your thoughts on run/walkers? I’m a long way off continuous running but wondering if I could run/walk a parkrun. My main worry would be getting in people’s way! It could be very irritating if someone keeps stopping to walk! |

CK2 I'm a stop-start run/walker and while I do make sure I'm not stopping suddenly with a runner close behind (because that could be both annoying and possibly cause an accident) I think it's not a problem. Lots of people run-walk in all sorts of events. Have a go - parkrun is for everyone xx

Morning 700ers *shakes pompoms* for metric marathoners and Som Absolutely ck2 and if you find you ate very last of the last as a result - which is unlikely - you can always volunteer. In fact its not a bad way of reassuring yourself of your relative speed x |

Thanks LD and Dipps. I used to be a regular parkrunner and volunteer but don’t have a local one now (although I understand discussions are underway) so the idea of run/walking one is new to me. I’d also have to swallow my ego and accept slower times!
