Morning all. Tough dsy ahead, Carp I've done a pre-breakfast 5k which ended up with a few short but fast intervally- fartlekky bits. Am now sweating like the sweatiest person on the planet Sweatalot but it was fun (The rain went through here overnight, which was very considerate of it.) Off to son2's later. Many jobs to be done but some playtime with the grandchildren should happen too. |

Hugs for Carp. Absolutely pissing down here, 5k done. Look like I'd been for a swim. Came 2nd in a wet T shirt competition. Off to Leeds soon. Will leave extra travel time due to the weather. |

Today wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. Journey to Leeds was tiring - some hideous rain but I left plenty of time so even with it taking longer than usual I was there with plenty of time. Set everything up and realised I'd forgotten one thing - the Lego! Doh. So we did an impromptu drawing/colouring/doodling class and thankfully there's a nice group who (quite rightly) took the micky out of me but were quite happy doing what they did. Journey home took 2 hours (45 miles) - the usual route was blocked with accidents and flooding. Picked up a KFC to eat at the studio. Sat down to eat it and dropped it on my jeans. Sweet chilli chicken wrap. Got to laugh. Tomorrow I'm doing 6 x 45 printing sessions at a school, and then doing an assembly - the kids have been studying artists and the teacher picked me as a local one. Hoping they haven't seen all my work - the "twat in the hat" of Jacob Rees-Mogg is very popular...... |
