Thought I’d managed a proper lie in as it was light when I woke up with an irate cat perched on my shoulders to meow in my ear. Turned out I was only 5 mins late to feed her 😂 who needs an alarm clock? No porridge today so a speedy hot cross bun before get the train the other direction to last week’s long run for a chilly 11 miles back.

Nice photos and good running, folks. I went for a run/walk in Bushy Park with a good friend.It was beautiful - really foggy in the park itself but nowhere else locally She took a few pictures, I'll put them up if she sends them to me.

Did the national trust 10k at Polesdon Lacey. It was cold but sunny so lovely. Mud frozen solid - I think I'll go back when it's warmer and drier! Some hilliness...

First event of the year done today. A (just short of) 5 mile trail race which included some icy patches but was generally ok.

I'm not a fan of trails but actually quite enjoyed this one.
