So I am going to okay fiddle for a Burms Supper band. Have been practising. So far I have only met guitarist/singer from band but not the rest. Apparently it will be fine.

I learned a new tune by runrig which is a giant nostalgia fest and have put together a wee harmony.

I don’t like haggis but OH does and he normally likes the Wall’s bag but Asda didn’t have it.

When I worked for Compaq, their Erskine site used to have a resident piper who was on hand to greet certain visitors as they came up the steps to the main entrance.

I do remember a very sore head another time after we'd had an EMEA Sales session in Ayr, including a fairly special Burns Night, at Ayr Rugby Club. By chance, right next to Brig-o-doon, Alloway Auld Kirk and just along from Burns Cottage.

True ITG ... and some red wine may have been involved before the whisky.
Luckily I'd done all my presenting and 'surgery' duties (surgery = sorting out sales problems & issues) before the session, not the day after.
