Thanks all heart

She was a fat, silly bird. I am very sad.

I need to take myself in hand. I'm barely running, eating loads of crap and both are making me miserable, so then I don't want to go out and continue to eat crap.
At work today, but some form of running will happen tomorrow. It will.

Sorry about the chook Carp

DD lost her favourite rat Friday. It was the wild one (Wispa)rescued from a cats mouth just born OH hand reared her for a week after being told she next to chance of survival. A good two years later.

Drinking tea at the moment building up mentally to go out for a run. Well done to those of you that have already run:-)

ITG - your question. How do I see others' ascent figires or my ascent figures?

Mine - I'm seeing it in my Garmin connect profile (it differs somewhat from Fetch but I'm using that number, as that what my coach sees).
Others - they're posting their values on a WhatsApp group, some are including photos of their watches, or workout records.

Carp, forget running if it's hard at the moment. Put your trainers on and tell yourself you're going for a walk (ideally countryside). If you break into a little jog now and again that's great, if not you'll have got out and will definitely feel a bit brighter πŸ™‚

Good afternoon! Sorry about Splodge, Carp xx

The virtual race I did yesterday did actually include someone who ran in Nepal, he shared his run on Re-live :-) (He even had time to stop and take some photos :-) )

I'm wondering whether to sign up for the 10 miler in a couple of weeks. It is quite nice to have something to break the monotony. Could Som (or someone) remind me please of the requirements for the Runner Duck event? I know I've signed up!

I realised I've confused everyone. I was talking about my coaching group not Fetch 700ers. I've found myself surrounded by a bunch of afletes who are recording majorly silly hill climbs today.

Afternoon all.

Sorry to hear about splodge Carp. We had chooks when I was a kid. They all have their own wee personalities.

Pretty windy here and alternating between sun and snow. Have to go out to get some essentials, but not keen on moving. Think today will consists of indoor exercise!
