Try the Plantnet app Carp. It could be one of a number of things. My first thought was maybe nicotiana but the leaves tend to be s bit more pointed.

Possibly some kind of salad leaves?

No running today but had a lovely lovely walk with sheets of bluebells stretching away as far as the eye could see. I was afraid I might have left it until too late in the season, as some of you have been reporting that bluebells are going over, but they're still rioting away here.

No running today though I have really felt like going on a run but being sensible and having a rest day. Will be going on another run first thing tomorrow!

Carps - any background to the source? Looks similar (but maybe unlikely) to spinach shoots?
(as well as probably 100s of other plants at that stage).

We did another walk today, since it seemed quite hot and a bit muggy. Have blogged the route, with pics fetcheveryone.com/blog/43889

Why is it that walking seems to tire me more than running? I know running 'tires' me at the time and for about an hour after, but walking (eg 10m yesterday, 9m today) seems to shatter me for the rest of the day. Or is it the beer or 2 afterwards. At home, as unfortunately, no pubs these days for emergency hydration on route.

Evening! Had a lovely day yesterday after a short post night shift snooze. VE day party with 1940s music, bubbly and cake and bunting (and a large Welsh flag flying from a bean pole) and today a 6.5 mile walk with family, then gardening and pizza dinner. Running tomorrow when it's cooler, probably!

It was mystery seeds inside a mother's day card that my nephew made at nursery.

I haven't run, yet again, despite having today off. I just couldn't muster up any energy or enthusiasm after we lost Splodge this morning :(
