I'm getting serious imposter syndrome. Some of the group are putting on 500m plus ascents during their runs!

I’m planning a 2hr walk later, with some running thrown in. (If I tell myself I’m going for a 2hr run then myself will get stressed and won’t go.)

I could do that by running up the local hill twice. If I could run.

Good plan, Paula. I'm the same.

I'm going for a very gentle run walk with the option to turn around if I want to.

How do you see that, Teebee?

Sorry about Splodge, Carp xx

Toe is still not up to running here so I did some DIY bootcamp exercises.

DS12 had a very small birthday party (3 kids for dinner) last night and it is the first time we've had other kids in the house for weeks. It was lovely to hear them laughing and running about. I hadn't realised how much I missed it. Since school, football training, orchestra and catechism are all back on, we maybe could have had a proper party but it didn't seem right to invite a huge crowd. But DS enjoyed himself a lot, probably more than he would a big party.

Happy days, ITG. Certainly I’ve not posted since toes played up, get well soon, pesky things - my second one is no help at all.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
