Our final year students have been deployed frontline on some sort of "half registration" basis Carp. I think any frontline workers should be able to access help. Whether they decide to or not is obviously individual. I'm actually not sure having NHS and elderly together is the best plan though. Other supermarkets have separate arrangements.
On the same note, another thing I think takes the piss is a mum at school who is NHS but office based, weekdays 9-5 bragging about getting priority shopping access 🤷‍♂️. I dunno, been a bad week, I need to stop being so judgemental.

Confession time - I missed the early NHS slot yesterday cos I had too much wine the night before
However as it was my day off I had no issue with queuing and waiting

I consider myself lucky that as I still go through the station I can pick up essentials like milk, bread, chocolate and wine ;)

Shamelessly copied from my log because I want your advice

Plan was to do 3 miles with OH today then fake parkrun tomorrow then 10 miles on Sun. OH then decided he wanted to do 6 today. Very heavy legs and back from the start, and OH announced after 2 miles that his calf was still bothering him so we headed for home. So now I don't know what to do. I don't feel excited or happy about the idea of 10 on Sunday and I'm wondering whether it's a good idea. I'm just fucking knackered. Haven't been sleeping that well, plus sitting at a desk all day and eating biscuits is not ideal. Will do fake parkrun tomorrow then decide Sun.

I don’t think you should be breaking yourself Linds and I think you should be taking one run at a time. Three days in a row is quite a lot in my book

Why do 10 if you don’t want to Linds? There’s nothing to train for. Now is the time to do exactly what your body is telling you to do. In your case have an early night and play any runs by ear.

Agree. I did 4 in a row last week (or was it week before?) and whilst I liked being out, and that was why I did 4 in a row, I suffered. Heart rate far too high, needing a few walk breaks, Garmin telling me I was unproductive. I didn't actually hate any runs but didn't enjoy them. This week I had a break, ran on Monday, lovely new route from home, then nothing until 3 today. Feel better for it. At the end of the day there are no races, no pressure. I'm trying to explore tracks and lanes I haven't been to before. Getting more circles, building Conquercize lead on local zones, bug squishing etc. Have fun but please rest x

What Fleece said. You are under a lot of stress. Running should not add to it. I suggest you go out on Sunday to run 3 and if you are enjoying it, keep going; if not, go home.

Thoroughly enjoyed my new standard 3
4 mile run today after I'd finished wfh. Sunny a d springlike. This is the ploughed prow I spoke about a couple of days ago. The only thought I had was whether thevpathvis also a fire break and he was clearing that of vegetation. We will see if he generates the path over the next few days. Irrespective, it's part of a beautiful route.
