Oh TM, don’t feel guilty, they wouldn’t want you waiting & the prat would have found his entitled way to the front anyway.
Hope the football pitch doesn’t fill up again, & yes, better to dig alone than with reluctant assistance :-)

Wishing you a calm homecoming & recovery for dd2, Pothunter, sounds like you’re doing as much as possible to help.

Hello FML :-) hope you’re back running soon, take care!

My first ever shopping delivery was missing plenty - who is suddenly buying so much flour etc? Comfort baking maybe.

No worries TM - I got that from your post :-)
I'm at the 'grumpy' stage of life - early stages of retirement and pre 'really oldie' *

* At least that's what I think. To 80-90% of the population, I'm in the 'oldie' group.
As per the polll last year about 'how old is old' - generally everyone responded with something about 10-20 years older than they were.

Yes um, I heard yesterday that there's about 32 BA planes parked up there. I might pop over there on my bike tomorrow and take a look.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Well that was a crap run, both literally and figuratively.

It was supposed to be some hill reps, but I didn’t seem to have much puff so it turned into a run walk instead. My route was on roads, apart from a small bit across a field - I decided to wear road shoes as I knew the ground was dry. The footpath across the field was nice and runnable - until I got over the brow of the hill to find the field was being sprayed with manure :( . The tractor was well away from where I was but I had to pick my along, trying not to slip over as it was downhill.

I made it through ok but I had to rinse my shoes under the outside tap when I got back.

You did it, Frag. Well done.

Hugs TM. I was shocked when a couple of students like me said they had gone during NHS hour. We aren't out there working yet; I felt it wrong to take that space. I might once working though as I know I'll be tired.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I don’t know about other supermarkets but the Waitrose manager said today the combined NHS/elderly/vulnerable persons hour is the busiest of the day, so I wouldn’t go then even if I was entitled to.
