Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Surry Linds only just got in Fetch and but read your blog yet, but my immediate reaction to your post was "listen to your body". I ditched my long run last Sunday. No regrets. Miles for miles sake is pointless. Xx

All true and what everyone said on my log. Thank you. I just had this idea that I would keep my long runs long in the hope that Ealing will happen in Sept and then ramping up wouldn't be a problem. Need to be flexible. Not very good at that.

Interesting what AL wrote on your log. In the light of that, I'm considering limiting my run on Sunday to 90 mins. (Was meant to be 2hrs).

I haven't run in over two weeks :(
My routine is disordered

It's not ok really to run from work and now we're on key worker train timetable I don't have time anyway
On my days off it doesn't feel right to go out when we're asking everyone to stay home

I need to get over this as I need to run

Had to get this off my chest - thank you x

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
