Hello Whispers!
Sorry for everyone on injury bench - columba - and others on sick bench; well done, Sweetie, and everyone who got their finger out, quit moaning and got on with it. (Not aimed pejoratively at the sick and injured; just the Sunday lazybones!)

I was doing actually not too bad after Xfit yesterday. I spent 40 minutes cleaning up the garden (we got our roof redone) and am now in agony. Going to try a jog in the forest where tri-baby is going to a birthday party but I fear it might not be possible.

Take it easy, ITG.

Lovely pic, Som.

3 cheers for happy swims in calm seas.

Corrah, it'll be great once you get started.

Done next to nothing today, apart from going to Mass. Injury has been subjected to a great deal of Rest and Elevation, and some frozen-peas treatment. Still hurts, but perhaps slightly less so.

Longest run since March 2016 today. OK, it was only 6.5 miles, but it's progress :)
Really warm.

Glad to hear injury bit less painful.

Marshalling at Great Aberdeen Run. Nice to see lots of familiar faces. Including Corrah's. Was a lovely day. Though on the warm side for running!

It's a well-defined nap. Well done.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
