Ooh yes, Saucony are far too narrow for me, and if I go up enough in size to get the width the length is like I'm wearing clown shoes  In running shoes I take half a size up from normal shoes.
I've been swimming  Only 22 lengths, slowly and very unstylishly, but a swim's a swim!

Thanks folks. I wondered who bet on me AR! I have another 10k on Sunday. But it's a hilly course so I'd strongly advise not to bet.

Kim, I decided that you'd been doing really well on the back of your marathon training, I was um-ing and ah-ing whether to bet on you. You win some and you lose some.
Do those Kanadias come in a wide fit? My first pair were some lovely Mizunos which gave me black toenails that dropped off. I'd bought them early on in my running life so they weren't a) long enough and b) wide enough. I got some men's Mizunos last year but I really don't like the soles. I also found a black toenail but haven't got a clue when it appeared.
I seem to be now taking 1 1/2 sizes bigger than my shoes to accommodate my mis-shapen feet.

Yeah and I'm doing the sme race so definitely don't bet on me although I would be happy with a course PB.
Another one for Brooks here - I have a brand new pair of Saucony's which were never right although I do get away with them at Circuits

I just bought trail shoes and when trying them on, the Saucony were at least half a size smaller. Went for Brooks.
My running trainers are a spectacular 42.5.
