I was going to run with music today but couldn't find my iPod. It sort of made me choose the route I did because I ran down quieter lanes rather than busy roads, so I could hear the peacefulness :-)

I'm guessing you ran near me Bint, I saw the donkey outside the church earlier in the day.

Didn't run today. Life (and housework) sort of got in the way.

Congrats to all of you who did marvellous things today :-)

This was up near Sydenham Hill station, Paula.
More than one donkey on the loose?

I'm just the opposite..decided today I'm going to start running races with my music again, found hearing everyone's breathing ( including my own ) very distracting and I get bored just running

I saw a couple of horses on my run. No donkeys though.

Can't believe you managed 20 Som. Well done you.

Great work RH.

Good running LG. Great time. The hills are why I decided trying to do 7 miles plus Garioch HM to do 20 miles wasn't a good idea!

I hardly like to mention my modest little 6 miles this afternoon... But anyway, I did it. And made some vitamin D, as the sun came out.

Brought a palm cross home with me after this morning's Mass. No donkey. A little Polish boy had a beautifully-decorated palm (as opposed to a single folded leaf), with dried flowers, and grass plumes in several colours. Apparently it's traditional in Poland.

Brilliant 20-something work going on today, coupled with swimming and passing courses. Well done everyone.

I was at the rugby festival until after 3, so that was my pretty much over. Off to bed soon as have boot camp at 6.

Night all.

Evening :-)

Busy weekend on this thread, well done everyone.

I went to support at the alloa half marathon, then met up with lots of lovely fetchies at a cafe afterwards. Managed to get my 10 miles done tonight, chuffed with average mile pace even with using 4/1 tactic

[Plenty of donkeys on the loose round here ~ mostly walking on their back legs :-( . Some of my runs, of late, have been Parkour-lite :-o ]

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
