Hurrah for Molesey!
Am in Newport, ready for tomorrow's 8 miler. Or maybe not ready, but here anyway.
Newport doesn't quite compare with TeeBee's Marrakech .

That is the most fabulous news Molesy
Nice s folks well done!
18 fail for me too Paula, just wasn't feeling it today at all. Luckily the yellow thing did indeed shine in a mainly blue sky and I did manage 7 and a bit miles around the fields trying not to run through the same mud patch/puddle twice. Will need to do at least 4 tomorrow for my worthy total though.
Getting further and further behind original plan and am soon to be losing weekends to uni visits

Thanks guys. I feel fine now, no idea what it was all about. And not too upset about the run, I have plenty of others scheduled and will be ok without this one.
Glad to hear that Molesey is back in business, that's great news

Hurrah for Molesy's news - that really is excellent
sorry and commiserations about the stomach cramp Paula but well done on introducing Eli to the joy that is parkrun. I was RD today and apart from the same bloody grumpy dog walking man who, three years on, is *still* complaining about 'how dare we clutter up his park with all these nasty runners' it all went well.
Columba, I shall look out for you at the registration place tomorrow - I'm aiming to get there by about 10:30 and will be in my purple club hoodie/top so if you see me before I see you please give me a shout!

That's great news Molesy. Really chuffed for you.
Well done LG on mileage. Glass of vino in order to celebrate I hope.
Back from sunshine to snow. 😢 How depressing. Will be swopping sunglasses for gloves!

I came second in rear of the year. Thank you Carp.
Bad runs just sometimes happen, it's easier to tough out a few miles but a long run sometimes just needs to be put to one side.

18.25 miles run in 3:32 (11:40 average), nice and steady and felt strong towards the end despite last 2 miles into a headwind including across a dam where it was so cold I thought my face was gong to blow off!
