Well done RA.

Forgotten everything else I read. :-P

Going for my LSR in a bit. Bit tired and low today, hoping it perks me up.

Excellent RA! bunting
bunting Claire PB

bunting LG good running :)

Where IS LazyDaisy?

Ealing half done. 2.08.53. Pleased with that. Definitely not a PW. In fact less than 2 mins outside my course best I think. Given the circumstances pretty good.

Paula, I agree with everyone else fwiw.

Forgotten everything else :)

Well done RA bunting - I enjoyed the Road relays - and caught up with jennywren. Did around 23.20 I think for 5k-ish which is my second fastest time this year. Leaflet ended up doing 3 laps instead of 2 - so 4.85 miles... Mr AL said he hated every minute!

Fantastic RA bunting
Claire have some bunting too
Actually bunting all round for general awesomeness.
Fleecy - I will be doing my 700th mile at the social in Conistion. Seems very fitting.
I am also going to hold Bint responsible for me looking at all sorts of ultras. I must be off my head!

Seriously things are not brilliant in my personal life just now and you guys really help me cope xx

Sorry, Linds - my Monday evening running drills group went for a post-Half pub lunch and I've not long got home :-) Steak and ale pie and chips, followed by creme brulee *rubs tummy*

bunting for AR's PB, champagne for RA, medal for LG's course PB...forgotten everything else, sorry.

I too got a tiny course PB, except it isn't quite because they tinkered a bit with the course this year and by common consent made it tougher :-( However it's my second best Half mara WAVA, and best since my Half PB back in May 2012. Bloody hard and horrible though. Totally drained by the time I crossed the finishing line. Will summon up the energy to blog later but for now there's a glass of chilled cider that has my name on it :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
