chunkywizard, I didn’t know there were new & old tables. I just input the time for my 10K race into my race portfolio on here & up came the WAVA score.

I’m afraid I am to computers what Boris Johnson is to heavy welding. I wouldn’t know where to find the old tables. Still, at the end of the day, there will be another 10K race near home I can enter later on in the year.

David, look here: fetcheveryone.com/user-settings.php and you should see a WAVA factors setting. If you set it to 'use 2010 tables' your WAVA miraculously gets better ;-)

I use it because I have been measuring WAVA since the 2010 tables were in play and didn't like the drop I got when new tables came out.

I think some people use the old table and some use the new but it's good to know the setting exists :-)

Baby steps - or rather jumps - for me. Bar up another centimetre this morning for my high jump. 71.32% now (I'm aiming for 73% as a first target - that's what my 1.10 PB produced ten years ago.)

2nd 10k race in five days, 47.08, getting a wee bit better, Wava of 66.54.

Prince Bishops Place Durham 10k; too hot.

65:87 Wava for Falkirk Parkrun course today, 12 seconds slower than the last time nearly two years ago, absolutely sweltering though.

It has a section called Heartbreak Hill which nearly ended me😀
