How satisfying to do the quickest parkrun of the year on a meaningful date - the solstice.
62.23% at parkrun today. Furthermore, it was my 50th parkrun.

Cheers WW - got to say I'm rather satisfied with that. Lost some enthusiasm mid-year and now seeing some progress again.
Fantastic stuff there Columba and congrats on the milestone

Well done Columba and congratulations on the 50th.
I'm having a dip in running mojo Weath and with a 10k race coming up. That will be interesting.

I think its naturally that we have these dips. Trying to remain constantly focused, both physically and mentally, throughout the year when we have other things going on in our lives can be a challenge. I tend to lose the impetus during the hot summer months when I find it a struggle in the heat. Much prefer these dank dark horrible days lol.
Good luck with the 10k, hopefully you'll discover your mojo

But we do need the running in order to cope with the "other things going on in our lives"; or at least, to keep them in perspective.
